Students at St Anne’s are baring all for charity. Last week the JCR Committee and the Dean gave permission for undergraduates to be photographed naked for a calendar in order to raise money for the JCR’s charitable interests.
JCR President, Kui-Sang Sze, told Cherwell, “We hope it will be a fun event for a good cause. Several members of the JCR Committee have expressed an interest in taking part.”
The months of the calendar will be themed with different sports teams and societies each having their own month.
St. Anne’s has launched a naked calendar that includes not just undergraduates but porters baring all.
Steeped as they are in tradition, however, it is nice to know that porters never remove their neckties. Head porter, Damian Wood, was keen to stress that it was not “full frontal nudity” and that they were “topless with their ties still on”, adding that the shoot took place “when members of the JCR approached two of our youngest and most attractive colleagues to see if they would agree to get involved. They were more than happy to oblige.”
