In Philadelphia, community activists in Northern Liberties traveled the almost-in-the-altogether route twice. In 2002, they published 'The Men of Northern Liberties,' and followed that up in 2004 with 'The Women of Northern Liberties.'

Both were successful fund-raisers, said former Common Pleas Court Judge John Braxton, treasurer of the Northern Liberties Neighbors Association.
