Twelve of Spain’s most prestigious supermodels agreed to pose naked for the calendar after being told that 20 per cent of the proceeds would go to the country’s branch of the charity, the world’s largest environmental campaign group. Greenpeace UK, however, yesterday denied that the pictures were exploitative of women or were a cynical attempt to use sex to promote a virtuous environmental message. ... However, the spokesman stressed that the calendar would not be deemed suitable for the British market. Thus, no doubt, giving a boost to British mail-orders from Greenpeace Spain.
